Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, whose client deliveries have just begun, has invited European journalists to experience Spectre, its first fully electric motor vehicle, in the beautiful countryside around the marque’s West Sussex headquarters.

  • The European Media Drive begins at the marque’s headquarters in West Sussex.
  • Spectre will be the vehicle of choice for guests to enjoy a thrilling adventure and experience this revolutionary motorcar in its native market.

“The launch of Spectre marks a momentous occasion in the nearly 120-year-old history of the Rolls-Royce marque. Spectre represents the start of a bold, exciting, and new era for the brand. In 2012, Rolls-Royce announced that its first electric car would be launched in 2023 and that the entire Rolls-Royce portfolio would be all-electric by 2030. Since then, Spectre’s journey has been remarkable. It has completed a rigorous test program that spanned 2.5 million kilometers and received overwhelmingly positive comments from clients and media. “It is a pleasure now to see this motor vehicle on our domestic market. I’m delighted to give the European media an opportunity to experience this transformative car in the United Kingdom.”

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, whose client deliveries have just begun, has invited European journalists to experience Spectre, its first fully electric motor vehicle, in the beautiful countryside around the marque’s West Sussex headquarters.

The adventure began at the Home of Rolls-Royce on the Goodwood Estate – it is the only place where Rolls-Royce cars are hand-built and designed. The global headquarters of the marque and Centre of Luxury Manufacturing Excellence are regarded as being the world’s most prestigious House of Luxury. The Centre of Luxury Manufacturing Excellence is a place that encourages creativity, talent, and ingenuity. It’s also a place for clients, media, and friends to enjoy a full-immersion Rolls-Royce Experience.

After leaving the Rolls-Royce Home, the media set off on a journey of discovery that took them through the rolling hills of Hampshire and Sussex. The route was chosen for its breathtaking views. After experiencing the remarkably quiet motor car, media arrive at Heckfield Place – a modern country home set in 430 acres of eco-estate.
